Haus Malsch -

The House was built in 1905 as a weekend retreat for the Malsch family and sits 600m above sea level in the mountains of the Black Forest.

It's a truly breathtaking location with panoramic views across the Black Forest through to France.

Daily flights from London Stansted to Baden Baden Karlsruhe with Ryanair with a flight time of approximately 1 hour.

Bühlertal is about 30 mins drive from the airport. Car hire is available at the airport - with Sat Nav!

Ferry crossings from Dover to either Calais or Dunkirk and then an approximate driving time of 8 hours to Bühlertal.

The house is about 10mins drive from the town of Bühlertal up a steep road right into the mountains. A car is therfore preferable.

The Apartment sleeps two and is located on the ground floor of the quiet family home but is totally self contained with it's own front door.

There is a sitting/dining area, one bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.

The Apartment has use of the main garden which overlooks the valley with a panoramic view across to France.

30 Euros per night for the Studio Apartment

There is also a small tourism charge of 1.40 Euro per person per night.

The Chalet nestles in the grounds of the family house but it is a private quiet retreat and has it own small patio which overlooks the forest and deer can often be seen roaming the surrounding area. It sleeps 4 people.

On the ground floor there is a sitting area, fully equipped kitchen and a shower room

The first floor, accessible by spiral staircase has two twin adjoining bedrooms.

45 Euros per night for 2 people. Then an additional 2 Euros for each additional person per night.

(For example to stay one night 4 people will pay 49 Euros in total.)

There is also a small tourism charge of 1.40 Euro per person per night

The owner Hubertus Du Bois is a trained chef and local hunter and game keeper, so can cook a delicious selection of wild meat dishes.

We can also provide Welcome packs, breakfasts in the main house or garden. Also, traditional German Fayre cooked either at the chalet or the Main House.

We can provide a variety of packed lunches which includes bread, a variety of local cheeses, salamis and hams, smoked trout, fresh juices and/or wine.

We truly believe in the quality of our products and hope you enjoy a little taste of the Black Forest.
